Mechanical tree planting is ideal for installing field or farmstead windbreaks and a breeze to plan with the help with our trained technician.

Services provided by our technician include,

• Site checks
• Consultation
• Design and species selection
• Installation
• Assistance with processing planting through USDA programs

Site preparation is important to tree growth and key for successful planting. With this in mind, we recommend cultivation of the area where the trees will be installed in the fall of the previous year and again early in the spring. If you do not have the capability to perform site preparation, there are various contractors that may be able to help.

*PLEASE NOTE: Tree planting services will not be carried out until sites have been cultivated.

2010 Machine Planting Prices:

$23.00 per 100 linear feet of trees

*PLEASE NOTE: There is a $440.00 minimum charge for machine planting services, in addition, the District now requires a deposit of 50% of the total cost be paid before fabric will be installed.

*Assignment of payments are recommended on all cost share plantings.
