Northern Strip Till Expo
Held on August 14, 2007 at the Jerry Nordick farm near Rothsay, MN
Strip Till is a conservation management practice that holds tremendous promise for today's farmer. It combines the benefits of no-till and conventional chisel plow systems. Strip Till improves your bottom line by improving profits, increasing water infiltration and soil warm up, improving soil health, and reducing soil erosion.
The Expo was a very good workshop showing demonstrations of the various types of Strip Till equipment available. There were vendors from many of the surrounding states present with their equipment. Approximately 300 people from all surrounding areas of North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota were present. See some of the equipment in action by clicking on the 3 movies below.
