ECO-ED Conservation Tour
The Cass County Soil Conservation district held its annual conservation ECO-ED tour at Brewer Lake for 7 th and 8 th grader students from Kindred, Oak Grove, and Maple Valley. The students spent the day outside learning about Native and Tame Grasses, Trees, Agriculture in Cass County, Wood Ducks, Soil, and Water Quality. There were 234 students and 22 teachers who attended in 2006.
Thank you to Hornbachers and Sunmart Foods for the donations they made to the free lunch that is served to the students.
