Big Iron 2005

This years event held on September 13, 14 & 15th was a huge success. The District sponsored a booth at which information on various SCD and USDA programs were provided to the many people who dropped by.

The district also displayed a Soils Pit where by people could walk down into a pit to see the different layers of soil that were displayed. NRCS Soil Scientist Keith Anderson set up the display and had other NRCS Soils personnel available throughout the event to answer questions.

NDSU Soils students visited the site for a classroom presentation.
